Q: What are the enrollment rates?
A: Registration fee for IGeLU members, ELUNA Steering Committee and Ex Libris Distributors is 150 euros, registration fee for non-members is 300 euros and accompanying persons registration fee is 100 euros.
Q: What does the registration fee include?
A: The registration fee includes
- the conference programme
- lunches and coffee break refreshments marked in the program
- two evening receptions
- VAT 22%
Q: Are there any limits on the maximum number of participants from a single institution?
A: There are no limits of how many attendees will be accepted per institution.
Q: How long the registration will be open? Is there an early bird date?
A: The registration will be open until August. There is no early bird date. However, it is advisable to register in time, in order to ensure the hotel room availability.
Q: Can two people register with the same form?
A: No they can’t. Each form is to be filled in individually by only one participant.
Q: Do I get a confirmation of my registration?
A: Yes, after having registered you will get registration email confirmation. You can check or change your registration information on the registration site. You will find the login page here. - Please note that if you choose to request an invoice, it will be sent to you by paper mail after your registration has been processed.
Q: How do I know I’ll get the hotel I’ve reserved?
A: Reservations will be handled on a “first come – first served” basis. When the Conference Secretariat has received your payment, an official confirmation letter will be sent by email to confirm the registration and your other reservations.
Q: What if I am sharing a room with my colleague, how I will avoid double-booking?
A: When reserving a double room with a colleague, you should make only one reservation per double room. Please write both names on the “Share with” field. Hotel will remove double-bookings in case there is some.
Q: Does the double room mean a twin bead?
A: Generally it means two beds which can put be side by side or separated. You can indicate in the “Requirements” field if you wish to have two separate beds (not twin) in the double room.
Q: Can I choose a different hotel than those on the registration form?
A: Yes, you have that option. On the end of the Hotels page you will find a list of hotel agencies that will offer variety of hotel rooms in Helsinki. Go to their web pages and make your choise. When doing so, just click the ” I don´t need accommodation arrangement” on the registration page. In either case, we advice you to make a reservation without delay.
Q: If I had to cancel or change my participation, how I do it?
A: All cancellations and changes must be made in writing to Congreszon Ltd at igelu09(at)congreszon.fi. All refunds will be made at the exchange rate of the refund date. The organizers or the congress office cannot be held responsible for a loss caused by alterations in exchange rates. If cancellation of the registration or hotel is received by July 5th, 2009, the fee less a cancellation fee of 50 EUR for administrative expenses will be refunded. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after July 5th, 2009. There will be no refunds for no-shows.
How do I register as a new member of IGeLU?
A: Check first if your IGeLU ID is listed on the drop-down menu on registration page. The current members of IGeLu are listed also at IGeLU Member page. Select your own membership code. If you can’t find it, write the code on the right hand corner of the registering page (New members).
NOTE FOR PROXY VOTING
Those who attend voting will have to sign for the voting folder. Registrated members will be verified.
